Retta Jane garments will have a care tag that references specific care instructions. We recommend following the care instructions precisely, as the printed care instructions have been approved after extensive testing by our production team and manufacturing partners.
Here are some additional suggestions for preserving the lifespan of your clothing:
Instead of hanging, we recommend you fold your sweaters and knits.
We recommend steaming garments, as opposed to ironing, when possible
Allow garments to air-dry when possible, especially garments that contain elastic, as this will add longevity.
When using a machine wash, you may generally opt for a temperature lower than recommended on the label. Please note not to use a higher temperature, as this could shrink or damage the fabric.
If you require replacement buttons, we provide them for free, subject to stock availability. To request a replacement button, please send two pictures to email@example.com - one photo that shows the entire garment style and one photo of the button needed. We will do our best to accommodate.

Upon placing an order, you will receive an email confirmation sent to the email address provided during checkout. It may take a few minutes for this email to arrive. If you do not receive it within an hour, please get in touch with our customer support team.
Regrettably, we cannot modify, amend, or cancel an order once it has been submitted. In such cases, we request that you return the original merchandise and place a new order. Once processed and deemed eligible, you will receive a refund for the returned item.
Applying discount codes after an order has been placed or retroactively applied to prior orders is not possible. Before placing your order, please ensure that the discount code has been applied and the corresponding discount has been subtracted from your subtotal.

Orders are subject to processing based on the availability of the item and verification of the credit card. In the event that an item is on back-order, or we are unable to fulfill your order, our customer service team will notify you via email. Similarly, if there are any other concerns with your order, you will be contacted via email.
We conduct a thorough inspection of all items before shipment, and they are securely packaged in our signature Retta Jane packaging. If, however, you receive a damaged item, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange for a replacement. Retta Jane will cover the return shipping costs of the damaged item.
Retta Jane is dedicated to providing the highest level of design and craftsmanship. Despite our rigorous quality inspection before shipping, there may be rare instances where a defective item is shipped. If you receive a defective product, kindly send an email immediately to email@example.com with your order number, 2-3 images and a description of the damage. Goods are considered faulty if they are received damaged or have a manufacturing fault within 90 days of purchase. It is essential to note that wear and tear damages are not deemed faulty.
Whenever possible, we strive to repair faulty items. However, if you wish to exchange your item, please keep in mind that we can only replace it with the same product in the same size, subject to inventory availability. You will receive a refund if the item is not reparable or replaceable.
Kindly allow up to 5 business days from when we receive the item for the refund to be processed. You will receive an email notification once the refund is complete.
